Lenovo has announced its new Go series of peripherals and accessories designed for the modern professional who needs the right kit for their remote-working set-up. The first two products from this new line are a multi-device mouse and a dual-USB type C power bank compatible with 65W ultrabooks.

Lenovo has taken note of research findings that as many as 20% of workers surveyed felt they "lacked the tools" necessary to make the switch to a remote set-up. Accordingly, the OEM has developed its new Go series of pro-level accessories so as to fulfil this apparent demand.

These new devices have ostensibly been styled and designed so as to match the latest thin and light ThinkPads; then again, they should also work with ultrabooks or devices of similar veins. The Lenovo Go USB C Laptop Power Bank is rated to power such devices to the tune of up to 20,000mAh (rated capacity).

The new device has a handy inbuilt-cable form-factor, ending in a USB type C connector that should provide power at a rate of up to 65W (so as to match the demands of many modern ultrabooks). The power bank also has a type-C port that might do so at up to 100W, so long as nothing else is plugged in at the time.

Finally, the Laptop Power Bank has an auxiliary 18W USB type A port, in case there is a smartphone low on power that can use this older standard around. The second new Lenovo Go product is very different yet still equally potentially vital, being a wireless mouse.

Moreover, the peripheral is of the multi-device variety, meaning it can connect to and switch between up to 3 devices via Bluetooth and a USB type-C unified receiver on the fly. It also has an automatic variable DPI (albeit one of between 800 and 2400), and is rated to last for 2 to 3 months on a single charge of its 380mAh battery.

The Lenovo Go USB C Laptop Power Bank and Wireless Multi Device Mouse will become available from June 2021, at starting prices of US$90 and $60 respectively. The OEM has indicated they will soon be followed by many other products from their new line, a matching set of wireless earphones and a 360-degree conferencing speaker included.
