The Blackview A7 brings dual rear cameras to town for less than $40
Dual rear cameras have been pseudo-premium features, with forerunner devices like the HTC One M8, LG G5, Huawei P9, and Honor 8 all being flagships. That trend has hit a massive red light, though, as Chinese OEMs are doing all they can to bring such features to the very depths of the Android market. It's a wondrous thing, really.
Blackview, a lesser known Chinese manufacturer, has announced the launch of their extreme budget device, the A7 Pro. It's a simple, basic device for the most part. Till you turn it over, that is, and see the dual rear cameras it houses.
The A7 reportedly sports a 5" HD display, which is rather impressive if true. It's powered by MediaTek's entry-level MT6580A SoC (no LTE), features 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage, and a 2500mAh battery.
The cameras, its standout feature, are listed as being a 5MP Samsung S5K4E2 sensor and an accompanying 0.3MP Samsung GC0310 secondary sensor. The selfie shooter is an uninspiring 2MP sensor.
The A7 retails for US$39.99 and can be bought at online stores like Aliexpress.
