CES 2023 | Tecno attains a Top Global Smartphone Brand Award

Now that CES 2023 is wrapping up, its latest (2022-3) lists of Global Top Brands has been released. In terms of smartphones, it reportedly consists of well-known names such as Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi and Motorola - however, it also includes Tecno, which has gotten in at number 10.

This might be a surprise to some - however, Tecno now backs itself as active in ~70 countries across 5 continents as a technology OEM, and has also broken into markets such as tablets and laptops (something to which OPPO (#5) may also aspire).

It is often linked to more affordable and slightly basic smartphones; however, it has demonstrably broken into further heights of "cutting-edge technology innovations and stylish modern design" with devices such as the Phantom X2 Pro and Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition, with their distinctive feats of motorized zoom lenses and "sunlight writing" photochromatic backing respectively.

Tecno's general manager Jack Guo received its new award with "great humility and excitement", describing it as "an amazing recognition for our continuous efforts in developing a distinguished brand and make Tecno a best choice among global consumers".

The brand will now keep its "innovation strategy" going in the future, "pushing new boundaries between technology and design"; therefore, there may be more where the X2 Pro came from.
