T-Mobile LG V10 gets Android Nougat

LG V10 premium phablet gets Android Nougat update on T-Mobile

Released with Android Lollipop on board back in October 2015, the LG V10 now receives its second major OS upgrade on T-Mobile, almost two months after the first units got Android 7 in South Korea.

Almost two years ago, back in October 2015, LG V10 arrived on the market with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop on board. One year later, Android Marshmallow became available for this premium handset for the first time. Less than two months ago, in May, South Korea became the first market where Android Nougat began to roll out for the LG V10. Now, the time has finally arrived for the US market.

According to the official T-Mobile Support page for the LG V10, the new firmware was released last week - on July 19, to be more specific. The new software version is H90130b, and it comes with the entire set of new Android 7.0 Nougat features, as well as a fix for the "E911 timer," as well as "Google software and stability fixes."

For now, only LG V10 users on T-Mobile can update their handsets, but we expect the good news to hit Verizon Wireless and AT&T customers in the coming weeks as well.
