Sprint to stop unlimited 4G connections to tablets, netbooks

Teaser
After a long duration of providing unlimited data plans Sprint now decides to cut the unlimited 4G connection on tablets netbooks and also on USB cards

Sprint has been providing a real deal with its unlimited package for the 4G data plans for tablets as well as laptops, USB cards and netbooks but now they have recently announced that they are going to cut unlimited 4G data plans for all the devices except for smartphones.

According to a message posted on their site in the customer care section, the 4G usage will not be billed along with 3G services at three different tiers 3GB, 5GB and 10GB. The users will be billed an amount of 5cents per MB only after exceeding the limit.

However, till now they have not provided any reason for this cut of the unlimited pack. Although the smartphone users still will avail the unlimited data plan, but this is still unsure how for how long they will be providing this facility.

But, we can say that with this unlimited scheme of 4G services Sprint has lured a lot of customers from AT&T and Verizon, as it was the only provider to offer an unlimited smartphone plan.

According to Mike Issac of Wired, the latest move from Sprint might be for iPhone 4S on its networks. This is after we have seen AT&T killed the unlimited data after gaining terrible iPhone coverage, and even Verizon put down its unlimited plan only months after it started carrying Apple’s handsets.
