Sprint is bringing 4G to the Blackberry Playbook

Teaser
Expect it to arrive only in summer though

The expected Blackberry Playbook may have 4G as a connectivity option from Sprint comes this summer. The dual-core tablet from Blackberry will have a “4G aware” variant with Sprint – as reported by Electronista.

RIM might be a little late by the time summers come, because tablets have already gripped the market, and by delaying the shipping further, the company might lose early market penetration advantages. Gadgets like iPad 2 will make this task even tougher for the business smartphone giant.

Not only that, the fact that the Playbook needs to be connected to a blackberry handset to share internet connection and have complete access to emails and contacts might make this tablet useful to a subset of expected tablet users.
