Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact specs leak online
Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact will be unveiled at IFA 2014 in Berlin, there is little doubt about that, but its specs and features still have to be confirmed by the Japanese company. Until that happens, we have an exclusive report published by Android Origin which reveals the slate's spec sheet. Obviously, all these need to be taken with a grain of salt for the time being.
Until Sony confirms all these, this is what Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact's specs should look like:
- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 801
- Memory/Storage: 3 GB RAM; 16 GB internal storage and microSD support
- Display: 8-inch IPS Triluminous touchscreen with 1,920X1,080 pixles and X-Reality processing
- Connectivity: 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, WiFi, micro USB 2.0
- Camera: 8 MP Exmor RS back
- Battery: 4,500-5,000 mAh
The Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact will be both water and dust resistant as most of its Xperia siblings. Its screen is also expected to feature special anti-reflection coating, giving it an extra attribute to use in the fight against Apple's iPad Mini Retina, which currently dominates the 7-8 inch mini-tablet segment of the market.
Sony's IFA press conference will take place in less than two weeks, so we will surely hear more about this slate then.
