Sony Vaio YB notebook gets the AMD E-450 edge

The Vaio YB-series has updated its processor along with its graphics

Sony has recently updated its Sony Vaio YB-series notebook line which includes a new model with a 1.65GHz AMD E-450 dual core processor and a Radeon HD 6310 graphics. Earlier they had a 1.6GHz AMD E-350 chip and a Radeon HD 6250 graphics, which was launched earlier this year.

This processor and graphics are not going to provide a dramatic performance but we can say that the power of the model has increased a bit. This notebook is equipped with an 11.6 inch screen which is capable to provide a resolution of 1366 x 768pixels. It is powered by Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit.

This notebook features a 4GB RAM along with a 500GB hard drive with 5400RPM for storage. Other specifications include are 3 USB ports, a VGA port, HDMI port, mic and a headphone jack, and a flash card reader which can also handle an SD card and also Sony Memory stick Duo cards.

 The YB-series dimensions measures around 11.4 x 8 x 1.25inches and weighs about 3.2 pounds. This model is already on sale at Newegg for $480.
