The benchmark page for the G3221 reveals a Sony smartphone loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat that uses the MediaTek Helio P20 processor, next to 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage, and 16/23 MP cameras.
Sony is expected to come up with at least one or two handsets at next month's MWC in Barcelona, but only the invites to its February 27 press event are official for now. However, a Sony handset only known as "G3221" at this stage has recently surfaced on AnTuTu.
The list of specs and features revealed by the entry in the well-known benchmark database includes the following: MediaTek Helio P20 (MT6757) SoC with Mali-T880 graphics, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage, 16 MP and 23 MP cameras, all with Android 7.0 Nougat on top. The display resolution is 1,920X1,080 pixels, but its size is yet unknown.
Those expecting a new Sony flagship will be disappointed because the G3221 looks like nothing more but another mid-ranger. The press conference mentioned earlier kicks off at 8:30 AM CET and should be streamed live as the other similar events held by Sony in the last few years.

In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I've been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
