Sherpa has expanded its Ultradive dive watch collection by launching two new references, the Ultradive Atoll and the Ultradive Tuxedo. Sherpa’s new dive-specific timepieces, the Atoll and the Tuxedo, bring unique design elements while retaining the Ultradive collection’s core features.
To be specific, the Tuxedo version ships with a galvanized silver dial with a sunray finish. The dial is adorned with a date window positioned at 3 o’clock, diamond-cut indices coated with Swiss Super-LumiNova Grade X1 lume, and a mix of black and white elements around the dial, which resembles a tuxedo style.
On the other hand, the Atoll comes with a turquoise painted dial with a catchy white outer bezel. Like the Tuxedo, it also has a date window at the 3 o’clock position and diamond-cut black-accented indices coated in Super-LumiNova lume for better visibility during low-light conditions. Both watches have a 40 mm stainless steel bayonet compressor case paired with two Monoflex compressor crowns, one for winding and setting and the other for rotating the internal bezel.
The latest Ultradive references are powered by a Sellita SW200 movement, which is said to offer up to 38 hours of power reserve. Furthermore, the escape wheel and seconds wheel have small, laser-engraved Buddhist mantras. The brand claims that these are the smallest engraved mantras in the world, measuring just 1 mm long and 0.15 mm in height. There’s also a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on top of the Ultradive watches to further protect them against accidental falls and scratches.
As far as the water resistance rating is concerned, both watches feature 200 m (20 bar) water resistance, similar to all other Ultradive watches. The Ultradive Tuxedo and the Atoll are now available for order via Shepra’s official website with a starting price of $6,700.
