Some new leaks point to a new version of the Galaxy A52 5G, slated to launch soon with tweaks slated to include an updated processor, at the least. It is thought to be destined for the European market, where it may come in at reasonable mid-range prices for SKUs with 128GB of internal storage.

The prolific leaker Ishan Agarwal now asserts that Samsung has a new variant of the Galaxy A52 in the works. This new version of popular mid-ranger might be a direct refresh with a new SoC, going by some possible evidence found on Geekbench 5.

This benchmarking site now has listings for a "samsung SM-A528B", a model number that is indeed close to the A52 5G's alternative SM-A526 moniker. Its putative upgrade does not have the Snapdragon 750G, however, switching this platform for one with very similar specs found in Geekbench results attributed to the Honor 50 series, which later turned out to be powered by the newer 778G chipset.

Therefore, should this Galaxy A variant truly launch soon, it might do so as the Galaxy A52s 5G. Its Geekbench leak suggests it will debut with 8GB of RAM, which, according to Agarwal, will be paired with 128GB of internal storage.

This is particularly interesting, as the tipster also now claims it will start at €449 (~US$530). Therefore, it is to be hoped it does indeed have the RAM hinted at in its new leaks, as the 8GB/256GB A52 5G is currently offered directly through Samsung for €489 (~$577).
