MagyarSamsung starts accepting reservations before Galaxy Unpacked event with up to US$200 in credits
Yesterday, Samsung confirmed the date of its next Galaxy Unpacked event, during which it is expected to unveil new earbuds, smartwatches and foldable smartphones. Having led with an unambiguous teaser, 'Unfold Your World', and an animation of the Galaxy Z Flip4, it has now announced its 'biggest reserve offer ever'. Unfortunately, the offer only applies to those living in the US, as has been the case with the company's past promotions.
As the screenshot below shows, Samsung is offering up to US$200 in credit if you reserve an unnamed Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Smartphone and Galaxy Watch. However, Samsung will provide US$30 credit when reserving the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, US$50 if you select the Galaxy Watch5 series and US$100 for the Galaxy Z Flip4 or Galaxy Z Fold4. Please note that there is a major caveat with Samsung's reservation offer, which is as follows:
Credit can only be applied to pre-ordered devices at checkout if two or more qualifying products are purchased simultaneously; if qualifying products are purchased individually, then eCertificate cannot be applied to pre-ordered device(s) but can be applied towards additional eligible products on Samsung.com or in the Samsung Shop App.
Additionally, you do not need to use Samsung's credit when purchasing the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Galaxy Watch5, Galaxy Watch5 Pro, Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4. Alternatively, Samsung will email an eCertificate within 35 days of purchase, valid until October 31 at 23:59 EST. Separately, the reserve website claims that people will 'enjoy the highest online instant trade-in values, for which there is also a lengthy clarification in its fine print.
