Against all odds, Samsung has now officially announced the release of the One UI 4.0 beta. The beta will arrive on Galaxy S21 series units shortly, with owners in China, Germany, Poland, the US, the UK, and India immediately eligible to sign up.

Just yesterday, reports claimed Samsung had once again delayed the start of the One UI 4.0 update till October. Those reports have turned out to be false, however, as the company, hours ago, finally kicked off the One UI 4.0 beta rollout, starting with the Galaxy S21 series.

“One UI 4 helps users create their own, optimized mobile experience because Samsung recognizes that, everyone wants to meet their unique needs and preferences. As we’ve done with every iteration of our One UI, we’ve listened to our users to understand the tools and innovations needed to create a better, more reliable, and enhanced overall user experience.”

- Dr. TM Roh, President and Head of Samsung Electronics’ Mobile Communications Business.

The rollout for the One UI 4.0 beta begins with the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra. Older flagships like the S20 and Note 20 lineups will likely get the beta update before the end of the year. Owners of the Galaxy S21 in China, India, Germany, Poland, South Korea, the UK, and the US will be the first to get a taste of Samsung's newest skin. The One UI 4.0 beta changelog can be found below.
