Samsung NP700Z7C - Intel Ivy Bridge Laptop removed from its pre-order status

Teaser
Samsung's latest 17-inch Intel Ivy Bridge laptop available for pre-order

The Samsung NP700G7C was the first known laptop model with Intel Ivy Bridge and was briefly available for pre-order last month. It looks like Samsung had done the same thing to their second laptop with the Intel Ivy Bridge processor. It was only available for a short period of time for pre-order before it went missing from  J&R online store where it was listed. Similar to the NP700G7C, the NP700Z7C is a 17.3-inch laptop but with comparatively lower specs that clearly aren't targeting gamers.

The NP700Z7C comes with an Intel Core i7-3615QM quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz by default, but can be increased to a maximum of 3.3GHz with Intel's Turbo Boost Technology. The NP700Z7C also sports a Full-HD, LED backlit display powered by Intel HD Graphics 3000 which we aren't entirely sure about as the HD 4000 should be the standard for Ivy Bridge chipsets. Other specs include a 1TB hard drive, 8GB DDR3 RAM and an integrated Low-light 1.3MP HD web Camera. The notebook has a "Nike" nickname which might be the successor of the Chronos notebook line. The NP700Z7C is priced at $1,499.99.
