According to reports, the Galaxy Watch5 Pro will debut with a more premium design than the Galaxy Watch4 or Galaxy Watch4 Classic. Purportedly, the Galaxy Watch5 Pro will not feature slim display bezels though, for one reason or another.

@UniverseIce has outlined more details about the Galaxy Watch5 Pro, believed to be Samsung's premier smartwatch for 2022. Rumoured to launch alongside the Galaxy Watch5, the Galaxy Watch5 is only expected to arrive in one size. In comparison, the Galaxy Watch5 has been seen as SM-R90X and SM-R91X, which could span 40 mm to 46 mm case sizes.

According to @UniverseIce, Samsung will manufacture the Galaxy Watch5 Pro with a titanium case, compared to the aluminium and stainless steel it uses in the Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic, respectively. Incidentally, Apple already offers titanium finishes with the Apple Watch. Currently, titanium versions of the Watch Series 7 start at US$799 with a Sport Band, Sport Loop or a Solo Loop.

@UniverseIce adds that Samsung will protect the Galaxy Watch5 Pro with sapphire glass in another nod to the Apple Watch Series. For reference, sapphire glass is not as scratch-resistant as sapphire, as shown a few years ago by JerryRigEverything. Still, sapphire glass should provide greater scratch resistance than Gorilla Glass DX, with which Samsung equips the Galaxy Watch4 series.

Separately, @UniverseIce believes that the Galaxy Watch5 Pro will not have narrow bezels. Instead, the leaker claims that the device's bezels are 'even a bit wide'. Unfortunately, @UniverseIce has not provided any further details about the display in the Galaxy Watch5 Pro, although we would not rule out it featuring the rotating bezel from the Galaxy Watch4 Classic.
