Samsung Galaxy S7 (edge): Android 7 Nougat beta available in UK
Samsung Galaxy S7 (edge) users in Great Britain can choose to apply for an Android 7 beta program for their phone. The app is available in the Galaxy App Store but seems to be limited to the UK at this point in time.
If you own a Samsung Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge and live somewhere in Great Britain, you may be eligible for the Android 7 beta program Samsung started recently. Of course there is an app for that, which you can find on the Galaxy app store. It seems to be limited to users in the UK though. Some users from the USA reported on the XDA developer forums, that they installed the apk but received server errors.
Samsung seems to slowly go ahead with their plans to release Android 7 Nougat on their high end Galaxy flagship phones. Rumor has it, that the South Korean company will try to make these phones as attractive as possible over the next few months until the Galaxy S8 arrives in early 2017. They might even integrate some of the Galaxy Note 7 software features into the Galaxy S7 soon, like the new and refined Grace UI, that premiered on the Galaxy Note 7.
