Pre-orders may begin as early as February 21st for a launch on March 11th.

Samsung may be preparing to set loose the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge for pre-ordering on the day of their imminent announcements on February 21st at MWC 2016 and the Galaxy Unpacked events. Actual deliveries should start on March 11th when the two devices will officially launch.

The info comes from Dutch website citing reliable sources, so the leak should definitely be taken with a grain of salt. As an incentive for pre-ordering, Samsung may consider throwing in free Gear VR headsets as well.

Rumors are claiming a starting prices of 700 Euros and even 800 Euros for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, respectively. Both models may carry the Exynos 8890 SoC and 32 GB of internal storage each with no lower capacities available. The Exynos SoC may be swapped out in favor of the Snapdragon 820 in certain regions.

Competing major manufacturers such as Huawei, Xiaomi, LG, and even HP are expected to make appearances and announcements at this year's MWC. HTC may be waiting for a later date to officially unveil the One M9 successor to avoid being overshadowed by the sea of announcements later this month.
