Samsung Galaxy S5 4G+ hits Singapore tomorrow
Samsung Galaxy S5 has been around for a while now, but there are still new variants that join the family as we speak. The company confirmed earlier this week that a handset built for SingTel's first commercial 300 Mbps 4G LTE-Advanced service in the world will launch the same day as that service, specifically tomorrow.
While most specs are the same as those of the Samsung Galaxy S5 flagship - IP67 protection, fingerprint and heart rate sensors, 5.1-inch Full HD display, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory and microSD support up to 128 GB, 2,800 mAh battery, the Samsung Galaxy S5 4G+ has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and, obviously, 4G+ connectivity.
The handset will sell for up to $550 USD depending on the service plan chosen. The Samsung Galaxy S5 4G+ will be available in Shimmery White, Charcoal Black, Electric Blue and Copper Gold. As more operators will introduce 4G LTE-Advanced connectivity, the handset will surely hit other markets as well. The Galaxy Alpha 4G+ is also expected to launch next month on SingTel.
