Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite to debut in February 2014
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has been on the market for a while now and seeing new premium and lower priced versions showing up would not be a surprise at all. After all, the Samsung Galaxy family has a lot of members already and adding a few Note 3 variants is simply a natural move that should happen at next year's Mobile World Congress (MWC), if the latest rumors prove to be true.
According to SamMobile's insider, the cheaper Galaxy Note 3 already exists and its name is Galaxy Note 3 Lite. Even more, the source mentioned that Samsung will announce the new handset at the MWC in January, followed by the arrival on the market "sometime in February/March."
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite will be initially available in black and white but there is no new information available about its hardware specs or pricing. Previous rumors mentioned a screen size between 5.5 and 6 inches, a main camera downgraded to 8 MP and the fact that LCD display technology would replace the Super AMOLED featured by the standard Note 3 phablet.
None of these Galaxy Note 3 Lite-related rumors has been confirmed by Samsung yet so this surely is not the last time we hear about this handset.
