The Galaxy Book Flex 5G was announced back in September and now Samsung has revealed that the device will be known as the Galaxy Book Flex2 5G going forward. To emphasize the point of the convertible’s new status, Samsung has uploaded two video clips featuring the Flex2 as the star of the show.
The Intel 11th Gen Tiger Lake-powered Galaxy Book Flex2 5G appears in one of the tidiest unboxing videos you could ever hope to see (no discarded boxes on the floor or tissue paper rolling around). When removed from the box, it’s plain to see just how sleek and well-designed the Flex2 is as it fits neatly into the user’s hand. The quick-start guide even comes in an envelope and we get a brief look at the machine in action.
The second video published by Samsung is more of a “how-to” and it focuses on the world-facing 13 MP camera that the Flex2 has built into its deck, which is ideal for use in tablet/tent mode. With the help of the built-in S Pen, users of the Galaxy Book Flex2 5G can rapidly edit their photos and then share the results with friends.
The Samsung Galaxy Book Flex2 5G laptop weighs just 1.26 kg and has a 13.3-inch FHD panel. It comes with up to 16 GB RAM and up to a 512 GB SSD. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 are supported and there is an LTE option. The device is already on sale in South Korea, with prices around 2,370,000 won (US$2,154) for an i5 variant packaged with Galaxy Buds Live and 3,000,000 won (US$2,727) for an i7 model with the earbuds.
