The mobile device is expected to have a high resolution 10-inch panel, Dual-Core Exynos 5 chip and LTE connectivity

Rumors about a new Galaxy Tab tablet have been circulating the Web for quite some time without solid backing from reputable sources. It has now been revealed, though, that a Bluetooth SIG (Special Interest Group) filing indicates the existence of a tablet, dubbed GT-P8220, which is believed to be the LTE version of the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus. Samsung has not released official information regarding the alleged device so far.

The South Korean manufacturer will, according to various sources, launch the aforementioned model together with a non-LTE variant, called GT-P8200. Both slate PCs will apparently benefit from an Exynos 5 CPU equipped with two processing cores clocked at 1.7GHz and a 10-inch multi-touch display of 2560-by-1600 pixels maximum supported resolution.

Furthermore, the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus reportedly packs Bluetooth 4.0 and Wireless LAN 802.11n radios; it will run on an Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean operating system and is expected to go on sale at some point in H1 of this year. We will keep you updated when we have more information.
