The Redmi Band is now available through an online retailer for the low price of US$19.99. The cheap fitness tracker comes in a choice of four colors and is even waterproof. Unearthed BIS and Bluetooth certifications for the new Redmi Band from Xiaomi have indicated that the wearable will soon be made available in India.

It’s now possible to place an order for the Redmi Band wearable online thanks to retailers like Giztop. The new fitness tracker is listed at a price of US$19.99/AUS$32.86/£16.13/€18.26 (retailer figures for those markets). The Redmi Band can be preordered now with shipping expected to begin on 20 April.

An unboxing and review video of the Redmi Band by xiaomishka offers more specifications for the fitness wearable from Xiaomi, such as the fact that it is 5 ATM waterproof so you can wear it in the shower or when going for a quick swim. The Redmi Band is controlled via a capacitive button beneath the LCD display, which will allow users to make the most of the five sports modes.

Apparently it takes just two hours to fully charge the wearable, with the Redmi Band offering an impressive 14-day battery life. Xiaomi fans in India should soon be able to purchase the cheap fitness tracker as it has just received its BIS certification and Bluetooth certification. The Redmi Band is likely to offer up some fierce competition for the Realme Band in the Indian fitness-tracker market.
