Razer has lined up a treat for Pokémon fans with the launch of its new themed Hammerhead variant. Targeted specifically at the Pokémon crazy Chinese market, the new headphones will undoubtedly also attract interest from die-hard fans everywhere.

If there is one thing Pokémon fans love, it is special edition Pokémon-themed collectables. This is something that apparently hasn’t escaped the attention of Razer, erstwhile known for its serious gaming chops with products that typically feature black with lime green highlights. This is most definitely not the case with its latest, much more whimsical product – a pair of the company’s Hammerhead true wireless earbuds which have been colored in Pikachu yellow.

Not only that, but the new Razer Pikachu True Wireless Earbuds also come with a companion Poké Ball case to house them when not in use. Unfortunately, however, the new earphones are targeted specifically at the Chinese market, which means they will be hard, but not impossible, for fans elsewhere to pick up a set when they go on sale from midnight on April 16.

While they might be a fun-looking design, the Razer Hammerhead earphones on which they are based are designed for high-performance audio. They pack a 13 mm driver and support for Bluetooth 5.0 and feature IPX4 water resistance. Lag is also just 60 ms, which means that they will match whatever you see on your smartphone display with minimal discrepancy which will be important when you’re traipsing around the Galar region.
