Poco F4 rumor mill ramps up ahead of launch as specs leak
After launching the Poco F4 GT weeks ago, it appears Poco's next release will be the fan-favorite Poco F4. The phone looks geared to make its debut shortly, and continues its certification process in style.
As reported by Mukul Sharma, the Poco F4 has now been certified at NBTC—Thailand's National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission. The device applied for certification a while back, and now appears to have finished with the process. According to the same source, the Poco F4 will be available with 6 GB and 8GB RAM, and up to 256 GB of storage. It will land with an Android 12-based MIUI 13, will feature a 4400 mAh battery, 67 W charging, and a Snapdragon 870.
Most of those specs are a dead ringer for the Redmi K40S that launched in China alongside the Redmi K50 and Redmi K50 Pro a while ago. Poco has typically offered Redmi rebadges—the Poco F4 GT is a Redmi K50 Gaming Edition rebadge, for example—and it makes sense that the Poco F4 could be more of the same.
