Panasonic unveils Eluga Turbo smartphone
Panasonic took the wraps off its new smartphone dubbed the Panasonic Eluga Turbo. The device, unveiled in India, sports some decent specifications considering its quite affordable price set to INR 10,999 (approx. $165).
The Eluga Turbo comes with a 5-inch, 720p display with Gorilla Glass 3 protective glass on the front and Dragontail glass on the back for scratch resistance. The handset is powered by a yet-undisclosed 64-bit, octa-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz (which would suggest it to be the MediaTek MT5753), accompanied by 3 GB of RAM. The 32 GB of on-board storage space (partly taken by the Android 5.1 operating system) can be expanded via the built-in micro-SD reader.
The device supports dual-SIM ad well as 4G LTE. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth and micro-USB 2.0. On the camera front, there’s a 13 MP main shooter coupled with a 5 MP selfie snapper with 1080p / 30 fps video shooting capability. The battery capacity is 2,350 mAh.
The Panasonic Eluga Turbo is now available for preorder. At this point there is no information as to when the shipments are going to start.
