OnePlus throws a free Stadia Premiere bundle in with new phones sold in France, Germany or the UK
OnePlus has announced a new promotion by which those who buy certain new smartphones in the UK, Germany or France can claim a new Stadia Premiere Edition from Google. The units included in this new deal are those of the new flagship 9 series, the 8 Pro, 8T or mid-range Nord. The OEM asserts that these combos will deliver "powerhouse gaming" for new customers.
The Stadia Premiere Edition is a hardware bundle from Google intended to facilitate this OEM's own in-house game-streaming platform. To recap, it consists of a 4K-capable Chromecast Ultra and a first-party controller. It is currently priced at US$99; however, some new OnePlus customers might get it for free instead.
The company is now offering these buyers a code to claim one of those bundles, issued on the purchase of some new devices from the company. They include the 9 Pro and its vanilla 9 slbling; its predecessor the 8 Pro; its refresh the 8T, or the inaugural Nord.
Those who buy any of these units from oneplus.com have 15 days to avail of their free Stadia Premiere Edition. They can then presumably sign up for Stadia (presumign they find that necessary) to play with the relative advantages of OnePlus' Fluid AMOLED and Warp Charging technology.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
