Rumor | OnePlus Ace 2 slated to launch soon following approval for sale in China
Now that the OnePlus 11 has been unleashed, the leak circuit has looped back onto the prospect of a second-gen Ace from the same company. Speculation as to its imminent launch has been sparked by the appearance of a new 5G device on the MIIT database called the OPPO PHK110, echoing the flagship's leaks as the PHB110.
The supposedly SuperVOOC 100W-equipped Ace 2 may even look like the 11, down to the rear camera hump complete with 50MP main sensor - then again, its having Hasselblad branding is unlikely. Then again, it is also thought to veer away from flagship status in other, more price-consious ways.
While the Ace 2 is thought to help fuel the allegedly oncoming 1.5K display resoliution trend for slightly more cost-effective smartphones, it is also now believed to come with a panel of last-gen curvature that comes from a Chinese supplier such as BOE, whereas the 11 has a nearly flat QHD screen from Samsung.
