OnePlus 11R: Launch window leaks as reference spotted on OnePlus website
91mobiles and @stufflistings claim to have obtained new information about the OnePlus 11R, a few weeks after Yogesh Brar leaked hands-on images of the device. According to the pair, OnePlus is not close to launching the OnePlus 11R. Instead, the OnePlus 11 will arrive first, with the company having scheduled its global release for February 7. For reference, global versions of the OnePlus 11 were spotted last week on Geekbench with underwhelming multi-core performance.
Supposedly, the OnePlus 11R will hit shelves in Q2 2023, with 91mobiles asserting that April or May launch windows are likely. The website adds that OnePlus has already started mass producing the OnePlus 11R in India too as it readies for a country-wide introduction. Unfortunately, it is unclear whether OnePlus will offer the OnePlus 11R elsewhere. Based on last year's release cycle, OnePlus will sell the OnePlus 10R in China as the OnePlus Ace 2.
91mobiles and @stufflistings have also discovered the OnePlus 11R listed on OnePlus India's website. Found in the website's code, the snippet confirms that the handset will contain a 5G modem, mirroring its predecessor. Reportedly, OnePlus has equipped the OnePlus 11R with a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset that should provide a moderate performance boost over the Dimensity 8100 Max in the OnePlus 10R. Brar shared other specifications earlier this month too, which we covered at the time.
