Google Android 3.2 Honeycomb updates are available and are already rolling out across the US, Europe and Asia for the customers of Dell Streak 7 Table. This Software update is offered for Wi-Fi only tablets and for the customers with unlocked 3G tablets.
However, there’s also a bad news for the T-Mobile Dell Streak 7 owner, as the software update will not be available for them. They will have to use the same Google Android 2.2 Froyo platform. This might be because of the reason that T-Mobile has discounted the tablet this summer and one can still own from T-Mobile for under $100.
Though the T-Mobile Dell streak 7 owners are not made eligible for the official update but they has not mentioned if the users can install a custom ROM based on Android 3.2. So it may be possible though we are not sure. Dell also noted that the update will also not be available in the rooted tablets.
For someone who has not heard about Dell Streak 7, it is a 7inch tab with a screen resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and is powered by 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor. It has 512RAM and 16GB storage.
As the updates are already on their website, if you own a Dell Streak 7 just go for it right now and explore it with the latest Honeycomb update.
