Company claims it to be Australia’s best value 10-inch netbook
Kogan Agora, a company based in Australia, has recently reduced the price of its 10-inch value netbook. This netbook was earlier available for Australian $499 but, now it is available for Australian $399 (US $336) only. The Kogan Agora netbook is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor. The base model comes with 1GB of RAM and a 3-cell battery (good for 3 hours of use, as per company claims) and is available for Australian $399. Other features include:
· 10.1-inch 1,024x600 resolution display
· 160GB hard disk drive
· gOS operating system (based on Ubuntu)
· Intel GMA950
· Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, and optional Bluetooth
· Three USB ports
· VGA out port
· 4-in-1 card reader (SD/MMC/MS/MS Pro)
· Audio in/out port
· Built-in microphone
The dimensions of this netbook are 65 (width) × 31 (height) × 185 (depth) mm and it weighs 1.2Kgs (with a 3-cell battery). Users can also spend a little more (Australian $439) to get 2GB RAM and 6-cell battery.
