Packard Bell ''dot'' netbook
Packard Bell's netbook called ''dot'' launches in November
Packard Bell has recently announced its new netbook. The new ''dot'' looks a little like the already available Acer Aspire One. No wonder, considering Acer owns a 75-percent of Packard Bell.
The specs are also similar to Aspire One:
- 8.9-inch 1024x600 screen
- Intel's 1.6GHz Atom
- 1GB of RAM
- 160GB hard drive
- built in Wi-Fi
- built-in webcam
- 5-in-1 multicard reader
- VGA out
- three USB 2.0
- optional 3G module
The ''dot'' is set to be released in Europe in November, starting at around €399 with Windows XP Home.
