Alienware introduced m17x in Germany
The new Alienware Area-51 m17x is the most powerful notebook ever built by Alienware. It can be equipped with two Nvidia GeForce 8800M GTX graphics and 1.5 TB hard disk space.
Finally the Alienware Area-51 m17x also arrived in the rest of Europe (like Germany).
The Area-51 m17x can be equipped with lots of different hardware components. There are also high performance parts available.
The Area-51 m17x is equipped with a 17-inch display, which shows content with a resolution of 1.920 x 1.200 pixels. It gets supported by Nvidia graphics and the top-of-the-line model offers a dual Nvidia GeForce 8800M GTX SLI with 1.024 MB video RAM.
The processor is an Intel CPU and the laptop can be equipped with the powerful Intel Core 2 Extreme X9000 processor with 2.8 GHz. 1 GB RAM is included, but the customer can order up to 4 GB if needed. It is possible to install three SATA hard disks into the notebook and then it provides a maximum capacity of 1.5 TB.
The optical drive can consist of a normal DVD RW drive or a BluRay RW drive. When ordering, it is possible to get accessories like mice, external sound cards or TFT displays too. This is typically Alienware.
The Alienware Area-51 m17x is already available and its price starts at € 1.799. If you choose several upgrades, the price fast rises to more than € 4.500.
