Toshiba presents the new Tecra R10-ES1

Toshiba's Canadian department has added a new notebook to their website known as the Tecra R10. The model is built on Intel centrino 2 technology, has an Intel Core 2 Duo SP9400 processor that runs at 2.4GHz, up to 8GB of RAM (standard is 4GB of DDR2 at 800MHz), 200GB S-ATA HDD, 14.1-inch WXGA TFT (1280×800 pixels), and a NVIDIA quadro NVS 150M video card with 128 MB memory.
Other features include a Super-Multi Double Layer DVD drive, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, a built-in webcam, and a SD/SDHC card slot.
The R10 has been drop tested and has a spill-resistant keyboard. It has Windows Vista Business pre-installed.
It is now available in Canada for a price of $1999(Canadian). No information when or if this model will come to the US.
