New MacBooks without Intel chipset?

Rumours say that Apple won’t equip its next generation MacBooks with Intel chipsets.

Apple

The internet news site AppleInsider reports that Apple plans to deliver its next generation of MacBooks without the Intel Chipset. Anyway, they still want to use Intel processors.

The big question is: Does Apple want to produce a chipset on their own or do they draw on another manufacturer? Possible chipset manufacturers are Nvidia, AMD and VIA, but currently only Nvidia produces platforms for Intel processors. Those platforms are only for desktop computers so far.

Intel did not release a statement on those rumours so far and they did not approve the rumours of AppleInsider.
