ExpressCard for the latest high-speed wireless connectivity
The Samsung SWC-E100, a connection card for Sprint's new XOHM WiMAX network, is a simple inexpensive device. The SWC-E100 is an ExpressCard, but it also works on older computer (it comes with a PC Card adapter). It measures 4.6 x 1.6 x 0.5 inches, weighs 1.3oz and works with Windows Vista and XP. It has a flip-up antenna and offers a download speed of 2-4 Mbps and an upload speed of 1-2 Mbps. A LED indicator shines red if there's a problem, yellow if it detects signal, and green if it's connected.
The Samsung SWC-E100 is priced at $59.99.
