Asus Eee PC 1000 ready to get pre-orderd at Amazon

The new Asus Eee PC 1000 can be pre-ordered at Amazon US. The device gets delivered as soon as it is released officially.

Amazon US offers the Asus Eee PC 1000 and the Asus Eee PC 1000H for pre-ordering. The Asus Eee PC 1000 is equipped with a 10-inch display, which shows content with a resolution of 1.024 x 600 pixels.

The installed processor is the Intel Atom N27 CPU with 1.6 GHz and 1 GB RAM is also included. Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth provide wireless communication. There is a LAN port as well which enables wired connecting to a network.

Furthermore, there is a 1.3 mega pixel webcam and a 6-cell battery included. The battery pledges a runtime of up to 8 hours.

The Asus Eee PC is available in the versions Eee PC 1000 and Eee PC 1000H. The Eee PC 1000 offers a 40 GB solid state drive and the operating system Linux and the Eee PC 1000H provides a normal 80 GB HDD and the OS Windows XP or Linux.

Both Eee PC’s are available at Amazon US and they can be pre-ordered. The price of the Eee PC 1000 and Eee PC 1000H is $ 699.99 (approximately € 445).
