Epson, a brand known for its printers has just launched a new netbook model named Epson Endeavor Na02mini-V. This model will be available in Japan only and we don’t know whether the company plans to release these models elsewhere. This is not the first time that Epson has launched a netbook, earlier, Epson had launched the Na01 mini which had a 10.2-inch display which was powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor.
The new Epson Endeavor Na02mini-V has the usual specifications:
· 10.1-inch 1024x600 Glossy display
· 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 processor
· Iintegrated GMA 950 graphics
· 1GB of RAM
· 160GB hard drive
· Three USB ports
· VGA output port
· Ethernet cable
· 3-in-1 card reader
· 802.11b/g/n WiFi
The Epson Na02mini-V weighs just 2.2 pounds with a 3 cell battery. This battery is good for about 3 hours of usage. Epson plans to launch a higher capacity 6 hour battery later. This model will be available in the middle of next month in Japan for 39, 800 yen ($427).
