The HP Mini 311 gets fan control software

It got four modes to control the fan
There are lots of people, who have been trying to overclock the HP Mini 311, but this is a first – a user on the myhpmini.com has written a fan controller module for the Notebook Hardware Controller software. The ACPI code is written in asl and the program monitors the temperature every 55 milliseconds.
There are four modes available - Silent, Low, Mid or Smart modes. The software has been tested on bios version f04 and f14 and only on xp
