Ericsson HSPA modules in LG upcoming laptops

LG selects Ericsson's HSPA module for next-generation laptops

LG Electronics selected Ericsson to provide mobile broadband modules based on HSPA (High Speed Packet Access). They signed a license agreement for the U360, an advanced mobile platform that is part of Ericsson's HSPA product family. Ericssons HSPA modules support the peak downlink speed of 7.2 Mbit/s and 2 Mbit/s of uplink speed.

First LG's notebooks and netbooks with mobile broadband modules from Ericsson should be available in Q3 2008.
