Computer builder Zepto claims to have produced the "world's fastest" 14-inch notebook – the Nox A14.
The Nox A14 features:
- 14.1-inch 1440 x 900 screen
- Intel Core 2 Duo processor (P8400 2,26GHz 1066MHz 3MB; P7350 2,00Ghz 1066Mhz 3MB; P8600 2,40GHz 1066MHz 3MB; P9500 2,53GHz 1066MHz 6MB)
- up to 8GB of DDR2 RAM
- up to 500GB hard drive or up to 250GB HIGH SPEED SSD
- either a DVD burner or a Blu-ray/DVD burner combo
- NVIDIA 9600M GT 512MB GDDR3 graphic card
- WiFi 802.11
- Bluetooth 2.0
- built-in 2 Megapixel webcam
- Windows Vista Business, Home Premium or Ultimate OS
But be aware that this high performance equipment in the small case can lead to temperature / noise emissions.
Zepto systems are currently only sold in Europe. The price for the A14 starts at £827 ($1,407).
