Tablet should increase the NAND Flash demand

The rise in Tablet should also boost these flash memory demands

The year 2010 has seen a big rise in the demand of touch screen devices – Smartphone and tablets. These in turn are expected to boost the sale of low-density NAND Flash memory chips, which are used specifically in smaller devices like the Smartphones, and now being used in Tablets. The Slate/Tablet market has seen a surge with the advent of the iPad, and now the HP Slate. This increase in NAND flash memory will also be indirectly related to the increase in SSD adoption, as with the SSD becoming affordable, people will go for these smaller devices mainly running on SSDs.
