Dell notebooks with Ubuntu 8.04

Dell ships two laptops with the three month old Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Linux.
The Ubuntu Linux 8.04 LTS is a Long-Term-Support Linux version. The normal Ubuntu 8.04 provides updates for 18 month and the LTS version offers 3 years support for desktop computers and 5 years for servers. This gets provided by Canonical.
The notebooks Dell XPS M1330N and Inspiron 1525N are already available with Ubuntu 8.04 LTS.
