Samsung announced their new R610 Blu-ray multimedia laptop. The R610’s screen features a 16:9 aspect ratio, offering a wider viewing area over traditional 16:10 screens. That means no black bands at the top and bottom of your screen when watching a movie, since it's the perfect size for watching one. It supports full HD with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and has a Blu-ray player. The R610 can be also used for gaming (older games) – it has a nVidia GeForce 9200M GS graphics card. There's also Intel Core 2 Duo processor with upto 4GB of RAM and upto 320GB of hard disk space, a full numeric keyboard, 3-in-1 card reader, four USB ports, an HDMI port, WiFi, Bluetooth and 1.3 megapixel webcam.
It should be released at the end of October. Price: £799.
