MSI GX630-028US
Gaming laptop for $800
MSI has announced the GX630-028US 15.4-inch gaming notebook model that will cost only $799.99. The notebook is powered by AMD's Athlon X2 dual-core processor, an NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics (512 MB VRAM), 4GB of DDR2 RAM, and a 250GB SATA hard drive (which is preloaded with Windows Vista). Other features include 1280x800 WXGA LCD panel, Bluetooth, DVD+/-RW drive, HDMI, eSATA, 802.11n WiFi, 6-cell battery, and a 2-Megapixel webcam. The notebook also sports the MSI Turbo Drive Engine technology that allows users to overclock the GX630’s processor by up to 15 percent. The MSI ECO Engine lets users choose from five different operation and power consumption settings depending on their activities.
The MSI GX630-028US is already available through online retailers, priced at just under $800.
