NEC’s latest for the PC market

Tablet PC is the “in thing” these days with many computer manufacturers focusing on developing new models of the same. With the launch of the Windows 7 operating system which is said to have great touch capabilities the tablet PC segment is sure to get a boost. Some manufacturers are also relying on newer operating systems like the Android to run their tablet PC's as is the case with NEC who is busy in developing a mobile business tablet PC that will run the Android operating system. The touchscreen slate is believed to have a 7-inch or 8-inch LCD display. This unnamed device is set to go on sale in Japan this fall. NEC apparently has high hopes for its sales performance with predictions of shipping over 1 million units at launch. NEC is also tipping this device as a fast-booting device with heavy use of cloud-storage and cloud-computing. The pricing, hardware specifications details are still not available but we will update you as soon as we receive any such information.
