MSI brings new netbooks

MSI wants to introduce some new devices at the CES 2009. One of the new ones is the U300, which will offer a touchscreen display.

Supposedly, MSI will present some new netbooks at the consumer electronic show in January 2009. The new devices are the MSI Wind U110, the U115 and the new designed U120 and the U300 which won't be part of the Wind series.
The MSI Wind U110 is equipped with an 10-inch display with LED backlight. The installed processor is an Intel Atom Z530 CPU and 1 GB RAM is also included. The RAM can be expanded up to 2 GB as well. The netbooks mass storage device is a common hard drive with a capacity of 160 GB or 250 GB.
A wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n adapter provides communication and a 1.3 megapixel or 2.0 megapixel webcam is included too. A 6-cell battery produces energy and optionally there's also a 3-cell battery available.
The MSI Wind U115 netbook also provides a 10-inch display with LED backlight and an Intel Atom Z530 processor is built in too. 1 GB RAM is installed as well. The mass storage device can be a common hard drive with 160 GB or 250 GB and it can be a solid state drive with a capacity of 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB too.
MSI also will bring the U300. The device is not a member of the Wind series and it will be equipped with a 13.3-inch touchscreen display. The manufacturer claims the notebook to be small, light and ultra portable. Still it is not clear if MSI will launch the final U300 with a touchscreen display.
