Moblin Releases Linux Distribution for Netbooks
Intel Supported Linux Distro for Atom Based Netbooks
Moblin, originally supporting Atom powered mobile internet devices (MIDs), has released a Linux platform for netbooks. Moblin is currently in the Alpha stage and netbook owners are being encouraged to give it a try. They will be releasing the MID version in 2010.
Moblin reports that Moblin Alpha currently works successfully on the ASUS Eee PC 901, Dell Inspiron Mini 9 and the Acer Aspire One. jkOnTheRun has reported that it also works on the MSI Wind however Wi-Fi and the trackpad are not supported.
