It is the latest Pinetrail netbook from the Taiwanese computer giant
We reported back in December about this news MSI netbook that was supposed to be released running an N450 processor back in January. Netbooked now reports that the MSI U160 is finally shipping in the US. This beautiful netbook runs an Intel Atom N450 processor, along with the GMA 3150 graphics from same company. It sports a 10.1-inch display panel with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. No surprise in the other features also, like the 1GB RAM, 250GB hard disk, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, 10/100 LAN, Bluetooth, 1.3MP webcam. The 6-cell battery promises to last for 15 hrs, though I seriously doubt that. The U160 comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter.
The Wind U160 netbook is now up on the Newegg.com site for $379.99 with $4.99 shipping – reports Netbooked. Amazon.com has had it up on pre-order right now.
