RunCore launches PRO IV SSDs

RunCore, based in China, is a global leader in the research, development, production, and distribution of high-end solid-state storage products. RunCore has recently introduced the PRO IV series of solid state drives for PCs and Macs. Solid state drives have soon become popular amongst users because they are reliable and faster than the traditional hard disk drives. This is due to the fact that SSDs don’t have any mechanical moving parts.
RunCore’s new PRO IV SSD line-up has been developed to boost computing performance in the range of 5x to 40x. The RunCore Pro IV SSDs provide speed increases in startup, application launch, multitasking between programs, opening/rendering/saving large files, and shutdown. It also offers silent operation, longer battery life, heat reduction, reliability, and durability making it the perfect solution for all applications. It also improves small file read and write times by up to 10x and 50x respectively.

These new drives will be available as stand-alone drives or as an upgrade kit, which includes cloning software to copy the drive contents rather than perform a fresh OS install, together with a high speed USB 2.0 casing to use your existing hard-drive as an external one. RunCore also offers a 15-day money back guarantee in case a user is not satisfied with the drives performance (seems as if they are pretty confident about this new SSD). Retail pricing will be around $179.99, $289.99, $499.99 and $899.99 respectively for 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB drives when they begin shipping in August.
