Soyea Z5 - A MID for the chinese market
Category: new notebook modelsBy: Raghav Kapoor
It goes on sale on Amazon China at $880
What’s typical of Chinese products? No need for guessing. It’s the ease with which they churn out carbon copies of all high end famous products but with an unbelievably low price tag and with one thing amiss and that’s the guarantee. But all this thinking is set for a change with the launch of a real high end product from the carbon copy land and that product is way different than its counterparts. This new device is the Soyea Z5 MID (mobile internet device).

Now for the pricing which is again unlike other Chinese products. It is priced at a whooping 5999 Chinese Yuan (approx $880) at Amazon China. A Chinese product of this size and specs for $880!!! Rather astronomical compared to other devices on the market (not to mention uncharacteristic for Chinese gadgetry), I know, but maybe the high price corresponds to an incredibly well built, high quality product.
